This Picture shows Harold Evans and his wife Rose with their children Justin, Grant and Heather.  Harold was born and raised in Northern California.  Rose, on the other hand, was born in rural Central Louisiana. They were wed on April 3, 1982 with Rose's mother, Sammie, at their side blessing this marriage with song.  Out of this solid family based marriage three active and loving children were born.  Today, with these three children growing into teenagers at home, Rose rarely has time to idle. From the first day this company was formed, Rose provided the support and belief that all successful families need.  The center of her life is her relationship with family. Harold attributes his business success to the undaunting belief his single parent mom had in him growing up and later his wife. Our founder's career path began at Sonoma State University in California.  It was there that he earned his alumni status as both an undergraduate and graduate student.  To this day, he is a key national figure in the education and professionalization of the pool industry. He has served as a board member of the National Service Council with the National Pool and Spa Institute (NSPI).  In 1992, he was presented with the Soaring Eagle Award for education with the NSPI.  In years past, he has published articles in the National trade magazines challenging his contemporaries to raise the professional bar in our industry. The best embodiment of Harold's beliefs is expressed throughout The Pool Surgeon.  He created The Pool Surgeon in 1984 out of necessity.  He was the only employee and he wore many hats.  He perpetuates The Pool Surgeon out of passion and loyalty to his family and the employees he has created a family-like bond with.  This company has been successful from day one because Harold has never compromised his strategies at the expense of his core beliefs.  At the heart of this individual, you will find strong values about right and wrong, fairness and a stubborn will.
